Life is a cruel master but a true teacher”; this is saying that one of the professor in Cambridge University who is well verse in human history. He said that we (human) are a race that always struggle to grasp something better be it ideals, doctrine or as simple as desire or comfort, human are a being of progress not stagnant, and a race that always leave a legacy. However little do we know, so often that the legacies we left behind are not what we intended, this is the statement that can be best describe the legacy of modernisation of industrial and informational revolution.

As the world advance in the phase of machine and gadget, industry and economic not many countries can coup up with the rapid advancement that the era seek especially the less develop countries which lack both the capacity and the ability, either in technology or the professional human resource. Thus this lead such country to be deprive of its economics. Hence resulting in its people to live in poverty as their government can’t provide sufficiently in work opportunities, academics standards, living condition (security, utilities, and basic necessity).

Poverty as per definition is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions (mainly the basic necessity: nutrition, shelter, clothing) or acquire to small of a margin of income yearly. Furthermore Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the deprivation of basic human needs, which commonly includes food, water, sanitation, clothing, shelter, health care and education. Relatively poverty is defined contextually as economic inequality in the location or society in which people live.

In conclusion, we can say that as the world grew in its owned pace, as building grew larger, as knowledge becomes broader, as well as our human intellect. There are still other who have yet to received this opportunity and thus be left behind.

Hence, with this I can say without any doubt that any man who possess a conscious and a virtue can say out right that this is a misfortune that befalls innocent victims. Thus in efforts to support such peoples, one of the solutions are to provide them the basic (the-know-and-how) in marketing so that they can not only support themselves but also their family. In turn when they are equip with the necessary knowledge that can promote their country economics by creating a means and a method for them to further improve their lifestyle. This also helps not only the people who suffer from poverty but also their government so as to a mutual benefit to improve their nation’s economics. When the economics is stable this will open to foreign investment such as more business opportunity, more trade with other nation so as to improve in their technology as a necessity for the venture opportunity. This method will significantly reduce the rate of people suffering from poverty as they will no longer cling to government aid but become self-sufficient but in turn provided opportunity for the government to stabilize their nation markets and foreign trade.

Apart from that, it’s the duty of any citizen of the country to help the less fortunate ones who suffer from poverty by providing those with aids in the form of basic necessity. In that aspect, I’m very much in favour with the Islamic view of the “zakat “and the present of “baitulmal” this goes to show that in Islamic society the bond of brotherhood is not only limited to those of the same blood, same clan or even same ideals but all those who’re Muslims regardless of their nation, race, and lineage and it is our duty to help them. It’s like killing two birds with one stone, the Muslims up hold their ibadah as well provide the needy with aid in the form of basic necessity. This also helps to reduce the barrier between the rich and the poor so that they acknowledge that they of the same standard in front of Allah The Almighty. Thus reduce the poverty cause by exploitation of the poor by the rich significantly.

Hence in conclusion, world poverty can only be counter by the providing education for them especially the knowledge of the marketing and trading, also in the art of entrepreneurship as so they can become self-sufficient. Furthermore, to completely rid of poverty from the world is for people around the world to lend a helping hand as so their basic needs are looked after. As the saying goes “The things needed for evil to triumph are for good man to do nothing “.
